Hi,

I have a problem  with the RC2 installer on my NSLU2 + 4 GB flash disk.After booting the software
I get an error saying:

"The debootstrap program exited with an error (return value 1)."
i need you to help me as quickly as possible please i know that i can trust you thanks.

Error:

Base system installation error The debootstrap program exited with an error ( return value 1 ).

Check /var/log/syslog or see virtual console 4 for the details.

Hello there! Try the following fix one at a time. If the first one does not work, try the next one.

> Unplug your network to receive the option to set up the network manually. You will get the petitioner and then base installation and the system should work fine.

> Change the values in the memory configuration in the BIOS. Match them with the values in the memory data sheet and write something adjacent to the value. Try to minimize the values for each and every parameter in the BIOS motherboard not to be on the optimum performance. The default configuration will not work all the time. The server installation should run smoothly after this.
