Good day,
I own a new Dell laptop that lags whenever I key in letters when typing. There’s a prolonged delay that takes much time before the letters I type come up on the display unit.
I suspect that the lag in showing up the letters I type on the screen may have been caused when I adjusted its display size to maximum, but for sure I don’t have any proof to this.
I kindly need your assistance as I am actually experiencing this hitch as I send you this text.
Thank you.
Delays in display when typing after adjusted the display size to maximum
Hi Geoffrey,
That incident commonly happens if your PC is processing too many application at the same time and that will be the causes of lag even you have the latest PC specification for as long as your computer is very busy on processing many applications or it's either you install a new software which automatically download a program thru internet.
Here is my solution:
TASK MANAGER
1. Press alt,ctr,delete
2. Click process
3. Click unprocess to unnecessary programs
Thanks,
Raymond

Adjusting the screen size shouldn’t affect the computer’s performance.
If you return the screen size to what it used to be when it was working, does the problem go away?
If it does, then there may be a hardware problem with your computer. It is designed to be able to work at the specification of the display, if it can’t handle it then there must be something wrong.
Is the memory being detected the right memory that’s installed?
Also do you have a lot of programs in the background?
It is possible that you are saturating the machine and the increased load brought about by the screen size increase brought the computer to its limits.
