Bought brand new SanDisk Cruzer Switch 16 GB Pen Drive and it had a file named SecureVault.exe. I deleted this file accidently. Now I want to know:

>What is the function/use of this File?

>Can I get this file Back?

>Will the deletion of this file affect my personal data stored in this Pen Drive?

Deleted SanDisk SecureVault.exe from SanDisk Cruzer Switch 16 GB Pen Drive?

Hello,

 

The purpose of the executable “securevault.exe” is to secure files easily in “vaults.” It offers a GUI that will guide a user through creating a password-protected folder and encrypting that folder. You can download the software from the SanDisk website free of charge. Your personal data will not be affected by the deletion of that file.
