Dell Audio Output Device Not Found

I had bought a new laptop a few days ago and received the delivery today. What I did was go to the internet and open a YouTube video. To my surprise, there was no sound. This is when I noticed that the speaker icon was giving me dell audio output device not found error. What to do?

Dell Audio Output Device Not Found

Let me tell you right away that this is not a common error and is very strange. One thing you can try before you call Dell support which I think you should do anyway.

What you need to do is try to update the audio drivers for your laptop. To do this, go to the Dell website and download the audio drivers on your computer. Once the file is downloaded, right-click and select run as administrator. Now, follow the instructions on the screen and restart the computer. This should solve your problem. If it doesn’t solve the problem, call Dell support as soon as possible for further assistance.
