These new laptop models are graded for durability against severe temperatures, sand and dust, moisture, shock from drops, and more.

The one pictured above is the Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme model and below is the Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme version. These devices were made from magnesium alloy, and ultra-polymers that includes sealed doors, backlit keyboard, and gaskets. For virtual security, you have the Trusted Platform Module and the company’s Dell Data Protection, Encryption and ControlVault technology.

For the devices’ internals, both devices run on 16 GB RAM, up to 512 GB SSD hard drive and a separate graphics option for the Dell Latitude 14 plus an 8-megapixel camera on Dell Latitude 12. The Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme is available at around $3,499 while the Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme is at $3,649.
