Hi there!
Well Polaroid cameras and instant snapshots have been around since a while but not like that what we can have these days and this technology is still evolving.
With the advancement in technology we now have small portable inkless printers that can go anywhere with you in your pocket.
With ZINKTM (“Zero ink”) technology, now small prints can be made without using conventional color cartridges. In this technology an embedded paper is used which has some kind of crystals on it.
These crystals change their color with heat, so all you need is heat!!!!
Two major companies making these printers are Dell and Polaroid.
Both are portable and can print 2 inch × 3 inch pictures.
Dell’s cost per print is slightly more than Polaroid’s but Dell is better it has more sheets capacity than Polaroid. Dell wasabi has capacity of 12 paper sheets where Polaroid pogoTM has the capacity of 10.
Also Dell wasabi produces scratch and water resistant prints.
