Dell Studio 1555 Screen Not Working

I pushed the power button on my Dell studio 1555 and to my astonishment, nothing happened. At first, I thought it is taking some time to boot up but then I realized that the screen was just not turning on. Dell studio 1555 screen not working. What should I do?

Dell Studio 1555 Screen Not Working

If the screen is simply not lighting up, it can be one of two things. Either there is something seriously wrong with your computer or you have simply pressed the wrong keys.

The first thing you need to try is to locate the display key on the keyboard. It is a function key with a crossed screen printed on it. This key is used to turn off the display. Push the power button and then push this key. If the display appears then you must have pressed this key mistakenly. If it does not show up, I am afraid the problem is serious and could be something to do with the motherboard or the screen itself. You need to contact Dell for further assistance.
