Got this second hand Dell laptop from my friend, I've reformat it to ensure that I would not be infected of any virus that the laptop has after the Windows Vista installation I've installed all the drivers except for this webcam that is giving me this error.
Any help?

Dell webcam software install error
Hi Aron,
You will have to make sure that the Dell Webcam is uninstalled from your computer before you attempt to reinstall it.
To fix issues with applications that are having problems getting uninstalled, Click on this link and follow the instructions.
That is a Microsoft website that runs a script to fix issues with applications that can’t be uninstalled from the system.
You will also need to uninstall the actual webcam device from your computer. To do this, you just need to bring up Device Manager, go to Imaging devices, right click on the webcam and select uninstall.
After doing this, you will need to restart the computer.
Then, download and run the latest device driver for the webcam from Dell by going to this link.
This will install the latest driver for your webcam and get rid of that annoying message you’ve been getting.
Dell webcam software install error
If you are installing the driver for the webcam, make sure it is the right driver or software for your laptop’s webcam. The webcam software you installed is looking for a particular Dell Webcam Central on the machine and its failure to detect the existing webcam means the built-in webcam on your laptop is not a Dell Webcam Central camera.
The easiest way to download the right driver for your webcam is from the Dell website. Head down to Dell Support then under “Product support” section, enter your laptop’s Service Tag code, for example without quotes “HL4C71S” then click “Submit”. It should bring you to the download page for your laptop model. Select “Drivers & downloads” then see the available downloads for your laptop.
If you don’t see any drivers or software on the page, look for and click “Browse all drivers for [laptop model]”, for example “Browse all drivers for OptiPlex GX260”, located under “View all available drivers for this product”. Look for available drivers for your webcam. If the webcam section lists several webcam drivers, try each of the drivers to see which one is compatible.
