Details About Hhcrtl File

The hhcrtl file is created by Microsoft, which is a file of ‘Microsoft HTML Help Control.’ This file enables a user to view their help interface in Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is present in C:\windows\system32 directory.

An attacker can easily extract information form Windows using this file. There’s no issue if you are using Internet Explorer 7 but, if using any other version then you have to be careful. However, it is not spyware or a virus.

You should not delete this file because deleting it will cause a problem with Internet Explorer.
