Deus Ex: Human Revolution Error

Hi Experts,

The problem is with my game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. While launching the game yesterday I received an error message. It is indicating that the program is running but cannot switch. I tried several ways to get it ok but no result. Have you any idea for the issue? Please help.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Error

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is already running on this computer. but cannot switch to it. This is probably caused by the game running for a different user.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Error

Hi Olivia Aust,

Maybe you are using different user accounts and you install the game for specific user account. Change your user accounts where you installed it or log in as an administrator. Then restart the game.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Error

 

Hi Olivia,

Thanks for bringing up your issue.  In order to remove the error message go into your task manager and end the game.  Once this is done you shouldn't have this problem anymore as long as this is the only account you have the game installed on.
