Hello,

The file size of 64 bit version of Dexpot 1.5.17 (dexpot_1517_r1991) is around 3.9 MB.

Once the program is installed it consumes 3600 KB of CPU as shown in below screen.

Windows Task Manager

So, from the screenshot it can be observed that 2% of CPU is used when this program is running. Dexpot is used to create virtual desktops up to 20 and hence additional workspaces are created which occupies further memory.

The web says that RAM memory usage is increased by around 10% roughly when it is used more virtual environments which indirectly utilize more computer resources.

Hence it can be suggested that the minimum memory required for the system is 512 MB RAM. And to utilize this program for more virtual desktop environments, it is better to use systems with RAM not less than 1GB.

Hi Nancyhernandyu,

Dexpot divide your monitor into 20 different virtual desktops.

Dexpot creates additional workspaces you can quickly switch between them.

Take, for example, Desktop 1 to listen to music, surf the web on Desktop 2, and use Desktop 3 to handle your daily word processing or switch to Desktop 4 for a game of Solitaire.

Different icons, wallpapers, startups, and much more can be configured for each desktop.

Minimum requirements run Dexpot 1.5.17

License                   : Free

Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 7 (32 bit), Windows 7 (64 bit), Windows Vista (32 bit), Windows Vista (64 bit), Windows XP

RAM                         : 1GB or higher

Processor              : PIV or higher

Hard disk space   :  80 GB

It differs on which applications run on each desktop.
