I was going through an article in the newspaper when I came across words NAS and file server. I couldn't find the proper meaning of the paragraph without understanding the meaning of these words. What is the difference between NAS and file server? Someone, please elaborate.

The difference between NAS and file server: Are they same?
There is a difference between NAS and file server. Network-attached storage is the full form of NAS. It provides the description and definition of the file server. It controls a mechanism of shared documents and provides access to them whereas File server allows a user to share data and information over a network. It's work is to handle the central storage and controlling of data files.
