Difference between VLC 0.8.5 and VLC lite player

Hi,

Now I'm using VLC 0.8.5 version but someone suggested me to use VLC lite media player. Is it better than my one? Why? What are the extra advantages in it?

Difference between VLC 0.8.5 and VLC lite player

 

Hi there,

Use your old VLC player because the VLC media player lite is hard to configure. Here are the pros and cons of the product the pros is its lightweight and the Cons are only few formats are supported, it can only play network streams, too hard to configure and its interface is not very attractive. Therefore I recommend the older one version of VLC.
