The difference between Warehousing and Data Mining: Are they the related term?

There is a difference between Warehousing and Data mining. Warehousing is the process of collecting or gathering data from several or multiple sources and centralizing it into one source. One of the most known examples of warehousing is Facebook.

It collects all the information and data and then stores it into one central database. Data mining is the process of finding meaningful patterns in a data set which are further used for finding insightful data. One of the most known examples is credit card companies as they have a history of the purchase made and from which place.
