Different Types Of POS Systems And Their Applications.

There are five different types of POS systems:

1. Mobile POS: It can process payments and manage customer's information. Payment processing is free.

It is suitable when a person is mobile. Suggested applications: Freelance, street vendors.

2. Tablet POS: Some services are free and other needs subscription.

Suggested applications: Professional services.

3. Terminal POS: This is useful in business at the counter.

Suggested applications: Stores, salon.

4. Online POS: It needs the minimal cost to start. The touchscreen provides convenience to the user.

Suggested applications: Art galleries, salons.

5. Self-Service Kiosk POS: It is used to manage kiosk.

Suggested applications: Ticket sales, parking.
