Hi,

Digital Performer has encountered an error during launch. As soon as I open the software am faced with the error shown below. Please help.

Digital Performer has encountered an error during launch

Since the problem here is directly associated with the program’s initialization, check first if your Mac OS X version is still supported. The latest version Digital Performer 8, supports Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8. This version of Digital Performer already includes Touch OSC Layouts 1.0. Visit Digital Performer 8 to download the latest version.

If you are using an older version of Mac OS X like Mac OS X 10.5, you may install the older version MOTU Universal Audio Installer for Mac OS X [1.6.57985]. This one works with Mac OS X versions 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8. Visit MOTU Universal Audio Installer [1.6.57985].

If you are running Mac OS X 10.4, you may download MOTU Universal Audio Install for Mac OS X 10.4. This version is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.x. Click MOTU Universal Audio Install 10.4 to download. If you have Mac OS X 10.3, you can use MOTU Universal Audio Install OSX 10.3.
