Direct 3d software error displayed while work

Hi guys,

I am experiencing some problem in playing the game RC3.

Whenever I try to run it on my system, it gives me an error instead. the screenshot of the error is as follows:

Application

Failed to create Direct3D Device.

This error has also been sent to Debug.log

OK: <Attempt to continue>          Cancel: <Exit>

                            OK           Cancel

I have installed a new graphics card, ASUS HD6450, and it should fully support the program.

I used to run RCT3 with my old card NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT without any problem.

Does it has anything to do with the new card? Can anyone help please!

Hello Jones,

That sounds like an issue with the onboard graphics. It is more probable  that the onboard graphics has got insufficient privileges to run the application. You will therefore need to try installing the latest graphics driver available and see if it will help resolve the issue.

Hi Jones,

First is you need to check the game cache, it could be that it was corrupted. So you need to reinstall it. If it’s not, then there is a problem with your new card driver. As per manual, it must be a Hardware T&L enabled video card with at least 32MB of memory.
