Direct X – An internal system error occurred

Hello,

Recently I have installed DirectX on my PC. Since then I have been shown the following error message,

"An internal system error occurred".

The web installer and the June 2010 redist have already been tried by me.

But none of them worked out.

Any idea?

Help me please.

Direct X – An internal system error occurred

Hi Hollis,

 I came across with a few solutions to your problem. The first is to install DirectX in Windows Safe Mode.

To do so, turn on or restart your computer and repeatedly tap F8 key on your keyboard.

You should be presented with this screen:

Now select Safe Mode from the list and boot into Windows. Once booted, try to install your DirectX now and restart your machine.

If this doesn't work, try this: download the DXWebInstaller from Microsoft and Right Click on it and select Run As Administrator.

The third method is to run a Windows toll, Disk Cleanup and clean your old files. After this, try again to install DirectX. It should be working fine now without any errors appearing.
