Disable the default SkyDrive in Windows 8

By default my OS has SkyDrive configured and i want to disable it

How can i do this?

I know we have many methods and would like to know all ways to do it

Disable the default SkyDrive in Windows 8

As Microsoft is providing user as way to easily store files in cloud, Windows 8 comes with Skydrive. It can still be disabled if you opt to if you run gpedit.msc and follow the path that comes out which is:

Local Computer PolicyComputer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsSkyDrive

Next thing you need to do is to enable the policy setting which is “Prevent the usage of SkyDrive for file storage”. Wait a couple of minutes and it will take effect. That's how simple it is.

You want to remove or disable the default sky drive in your windows 8. All you need to do is to have an internet connection and follow all the steps in the link that I'm going to give you.
