Disposing Of A Hard Drive: Best Way To Do It.

One of the securing way to disposing of a hard drive and erasing the information on it by destroying the magnetic platter inside. Remove as many screws as possible using the screwdriver. Remove the main circuit board from the enclosure. Hammer can also help to remove it. When it gets open, remove the silver platter from inside. Scratch the platter to destroy the information contained by it.
