I would like to purchase a new video camera. I want to know more about JVC’s GY-HMQ10U. What do you mean about SDHC/SDXC memory cards? How 4-Quadrant Recording Process works? What do you mean by "FOCUS ASSIST" and what are the functions of it? What is Bayer filter usage and function? What do you mean by LSI chips and what are the benefits of embedding this any devices? What is H.264? What is AVCHD Formats for? Can you please enlighten me with this video camera?
Dissecting JVC’s GY-HMQ10U its main functions and features
Hello Brenda!
Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory Card does have 32GB maximum capacity while Secure Digital eXtra Capacity (SDXC) memory Card will be with in 1TB up to 2TB. SDXC is much faster than SDHC.
4-quadrant Recording process works with 4-HDMI outputs (for each quadrant). This recording subdivides the screen into for different outputs (quadrant a,b,c,d as example only). The recording will then combine this quadrants into one screen view that captures and shows more pixels and clear image. This is usually use for big screens and cinemas.
Focus Assist is a part of JVC and any other digital camera to help the videographer to capture images much better. Most of the video camera right now gives out better capture of images, if it’s blurry it will automatically adjusts the pixel and settings, if you have to zoom in and out the camera will change the pixel colors according to the density of the environment.
Bayer filter is used for mixing colors in video recording to create colors. This usually appears in matrix-type color-coded arrangements in computers.
Large-Scale Integration (LSI) chips are micro-chips embedded with super small IC. This is developed using sophisticated machines to place a very small IC with it. Advanced Video Coding High Definition (AVCHD) and H.624 is one of the commonly used format for TV broadcasting, recording and compression of video files.
