Divine Wind – 5.1: Setup error

My installation for all time is unsuccessful as this occurs. I am not able to see the Bug Reports forum as my register key is unacceptable.

Setup – Divine Wind

Error

C:Program Files (x86) Paradox InteractiveEuropa Universalis IIIeu3.exe

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:

DeleteFile failed; code 5.

Access is denied.

 

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or

Abort to cancel installation.

Divine Wind – 5.1: Setup error

Hello,

Solution 1: You need to find the folder where eu3game.exe is and right click on it.  Go to properties and choose start with administrator rights.  In case you receive an error message that says a file like d3dx9_41.dll, d2dx9_35.dll or the file is missing,  then you need to download a file from this link.

 

Solution 2:  If the program still crashes, you need to download a file from this link¾

You should also update the drivers for directX. 

 

Solution 3:  The installer can't find the registry keys and that is why you should enter them in regedit Check DivReg.txt file for how to check the registry.
