Divx player streaming download error
Hello there friend,Â
I think that the problem is in the DivX player itself. You are running version 1.4, or 1.5 right? The new upgrade contains a bug which makes the error 403 poop out.
In order to do this, you must uninstall version 1.4 and install version 1.3. It`s an older version, but still it should satisfy your needs.
You can download version 1.3 here.

The 403 Error usually shows up because of any one of these causes:
-
The personal firewall or antivirus that you are using is not allowing the action to take place. (These can be disabled for this duration.)
-
Sometimes your download acceleration software messes up and denies access. (You could momentarily turn it off.)
-
The Hosts file is corrupt (not your fault).
-
The browser that you are currently using for the action is missing some files causing it to display this script/error. (If you are sure that the browser has been acting up then reinstall your web browser)
I would suggest you try what the first two bullets are pointing out.
In case that does not work try downloading from a different source on the internet.

If you want to use DivX Web Player to stream movies on your web browser, check that your internet connection is working. That error means your web player or your DivX Web Player cannot reach the video. It can be a sign that your internet connection is not working properly. To check your internet connection, open your web browser and visit a website.
Try clicking some links. Once you verify your connection is working, try playing the video again. You can also download the latest DivX Web Player to update your existing version. On the other hand, if there’s a problem with your internet connection, try resetting your connection. If your computer is connected to a router, try resetting the router.
If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, try playing the video again and see if it works.
