We have seen our digital camera come alive on TV or even played music from our phone on the computer or home theater system. Such devices are said to be DLNA. How to find DLNA device on network?

DLNA Device On Network To Work On Your Files On A Network

1) Share media stored on your PC.

The folder containing the media should be shared on your PC. Right-click on that folder and select include in the library. Then click on the type of media it contains. This makes easier to use the data from other devices.

2) Giving access to your devices.

Connect your devices to the network. Go to media streaming options ‘Network and the Internet’. Click network and sharing center and open media streaming options. You will see a list of devices present. Select the ones, with whom you want to share your media.

DLNA- PHONE.

To make your Android phone DLNA, you need to download an app like BubbleUPnP. When you option the app, you find two cases- renderer and library. The renderer will play the video media type, and the library is from where the video is played. You can see the list of files present in the folder in the destination device and can play it from a source device.

DLNA makes devices transparent and simpler to use.
