How i can come to know that  which kind of Hard disk is working in my computer & what is the specification of my hard disk & name of the manufacturer, moreover, how i can recover my hard's data if it got corrupt is there anyway to recover the data of a damage hard disk?

Once hard drive gets corrupted, you'll be having a hard time to recover data stored on it. If it gets damaged then all data stored will be wiped out. It is advisable to do partition or get back-up hard drive for storage.

To check specification of your computer is simple. The easiest way is to go to Start, Start Search and type WinVer and press enter. It'll display the current version you are using and the specification.

To check the complete details of what software, hardware and specification of your computer, you'll need to go to Start, All Programs, Accessories.

Click on System Tools and System Information. This page, it'll display the current software, hardware components installed and it's current state and status.
