Hello all,

I want to use the Cable Services of Comcast to watch Cable. But, I have read that the Organization has announced Cable Service without a Cable Box. Do you need a Cable Box for Comcast Cable Service?

Do you need a Cable Box for Comcast Cable Service?

Hi,

Comcast has made a recent announcement that they are removing the requirement of a Cable Box for watching Cable. The Company has introduced Apps for watching TV.

Comcast has launched Roku Apps that has replaced the Cable Box. Earlier, the users had to pay Extra Money for the Cable Boxes, but now, there is no such need.

The Company has not laid any ground rule of using the Comcast Internet for its Apps.

So, you can conclude that Cable Box is not required for Comcast Cable Service.
