The document sofficerc could not be saved

Hi,

I am using Mac Operating System and trying to find a file sofficerc from finder.

I changed the logo=1 to logo=o and tried this with OpenOffice 3.0 and it works but for NeoOffice it requires administrator access to edit the file.

You can see the attached image.

Please provide a proper solution to fix this problem.

To view or change access privileges, select the item in finder and choose File › Get Info

The document sofficerc could not be saved

Hi Donald,

The error is because the permissions of sofficerc file are not changed.
To resolve this error follow the steps as stated below:
1) Go to 'Contents' folder
2) Right Click on the Mac OS folder, select 'GetInfo'
3) Navigate to 'Sharing and permission'
4) Click on the lockpad and change the file permission to 'Read & Write'

5) Edit the permission of the sofficerc file to 'Read & Write'
6) After the process is completed, change the permission to Read only
