Does anyone know how to config vpn on Xperia X10?

Hi there,

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 which I recently (yesterday) got from a the market. Then I started to configure VPN on Xperia, now when I use a free VPN client to connect it says vpn is not supported by this phone. I am really stressed as it is a new brand phone.

 

Can someone please help?

Does anyone know how to config vpn on Xperia X10?

Here is how to configure new VPN connection on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

Add a new VPN connection:

1. Press the Home icon,> Menu, and Choose Settings
2. Choose Wireless & networks
3. Choose VPN settings
4. Choose Add VPN
5. Choose the type of VPN you want to add (PPTP, L2TP, L2TP/IPSec PSK VPN, L2TP/IPsec CRT VPN)
6. Fill in VPN details.

Connecting to the VPN:

1. Press the Home icon >Menu, and Choose Settings
2. Choose Wireless & networks
3. Choose VPN settings
4. You will find The VPN connections you have added.
5. Choose the VPN you wish to connect to
6. A dialog box will open asking for your credentials, enter them and touch connect
