Hi guys. I'm new to this Cloud thing so please bear with me. I'm thinking of installing BoxCryptor for securing data on the Cloud. Does BoxCryptor have on the fly encryption Mac? I have a MacBook Pro that has the Mountain Lion OSx. Thanks.

Hi Elsietbrown,
Â
If you are looking for an on the fly encryption for cloud storage, then Boxcryptor is one of the best apps for MAC.  It creates a virtual drive on your computer then whenever you save a file it encrypts it ON THE FLY.  And if you want to access the file all you need is the password so it can decrypt it.. Basically unauthorized opening of the file cannot be done.  In addition, you don't need  an internet connection to use the application.

Hope this helps.
