I am finding the OS for Mac very appealing although I am a Windows user. Thus I have a couple of questions. First is, will the newest version of Mac OSX work well with Windows? Also, can the Mac OSX process .exe files? Your expert answers would really help me in my decision. Thanks!

Does MAC OSX work well with Windows
Hello Katie,
Mac osx should work well with windows. In this case, since you already have windows on your system, I will advice that you do a dual boot whereby both operating systems will be installed on the system for you to have an interaction with the mac osx and figure out if it can work better for you compared to the windows version that you are using. I am suggesting a dual boot because you might not know how mac osx may act on your system, so in case it malfunctions, you will have windows to turn to.
But you have to make sure that you have enough hard disk space and the memory RAM to do the dual boot so that the computer does not end up slowing down.

You won't be able to run .exe files in on a MAC as .exe files are designed for Windows and MAC uses a different method of installing applications into the operating system. It works more or less the same way as other Linux/Unix operating systems, only that the user options for access to the entire system is limited.
As far as a MAC working well with Windows, you can dual boot both operating systems or you can have one of them run as a virtual machine inside the main operating system that you will be using. The virtual machine may be the easier option as dual booting both operating system may be a bit complicated.
