Hi buddies,
I am working on windows vista and often using powershell burning disc to burn different CDs some times it takes too long to burn and I put my computer to sleep mode but when I press the wakeup button the CD burning process just stops so what is the issue there?
Does a powershell burning disc can burn in sleep mode?
Greetings Herbert J Smitherman,
As far as I know going into sleep mode turns your Hard Disk off. When you are Hard disk is off Burning will surely stop (as you are probably burning something from your HDD).
Therefore when you are burning something don't go into sleep mode.
I hope this helps you,
Regards.

Hi Herbert,
Perhaps your sleep mode turns off your Hard Disk as well. You may want to check by going to Control Panel, then Power Options. Next to the selected power plan, click “Change Plan Settings”. Click “Change Advanced Power Settings”. In that small window you will find options for hard disk turn-off periods.
