How can I remove a computer from a domain without a domain user name and password?
Â
Domain user name and password?
If the server is a Domain controller, first uninstall the active directory from it, so that any role managed by the DC are properly transferred and all other DCs get the information, that the DC is now not available and they can update themselves through replication and no error occurs regarding that server.
But if the server is just a member server, without active directory, it can be taken out of network (before that do a check does it have any share files/print server etc which could effect others).

Domain user name and password?
Hi Juisaha,
I think to be able to remove a computer from a domain without having to use a username or password you will need to have administrator privileges or be the domain controller so that you can be able to view that particular computer and simply delete from the domain.
Â
But to remove the computer from the domain without having to use administrator privileges, I think you will have to know the password to that computer.
Â
Hope this helps,

Domain user name and password?
Hello,
You can remove a computer from the domain, without a domain user name and password. Go to the start menu and then right click My computer > select properties > on the advanced system select settings and select the computer name.
Â
Now click change, to change the name of the computer > click next to go to the network > then type the WORKGROUP on the black space. You can prompt from the domain credential.Â
Â
In order to remove the machine in the domain, type your username and the password. After that, click ok in the Welcome message > restart the message and click close in the system properties windows and then just simply click restart.
