I was once advised by some friends to try dual booting an Ubuntu OS and Windows OS.
I’d like to have second opinions now regarding this matter. Is it really possible?
If so, could you give me brief explanations as to how to do this?
After doing so, can you access both OS without any problems?
Thank You!

Is dual booting on ubuntu and Windows possible?
Hi, yes dual booting between Ubuntu and Windows is more then possible, i am actually answering you from my Ubuntu OS which is installed all along with a Win 7 on my hard drive. What you need to do is that after having installed Windows on your drive, you need to make a new partition and install Ubuntu on that partition, then when you reboot you will have the Grub, boot-loader, interface to allow you to choose between booting to Ubuntu or Windows. Â This does not generally make any problems, but there many alternatives to this , like using VMware and install Ubuntu as guest OS on the Windows Host OS, or you can even boot from a flash drive , and that is quite handy , it's been tested , and it turned to be one of the best solutions!Â
hope this is helping!!
thanks
