DVD Will Not Eject Disk
Hi, Marco P, Hamm have you try if this something inside that make your DVD drive stock. If there a power in your DVD drive so there must be something that make it stuck. You can override it manually try to get some flat screw driver and try to pull it. To eject. If you ones it will open you can now check what's making it stick
DVD Will Not Eject Disk
That is actually normal with optical drives and also happens with CD and DVD players. The reason why this happens is the lubricant used in the device which already dried up. The drive will have a problem ejecting the tray when the lubricant is completely dry. When the drive starts to have problems with ejecting the tray, one workaround is to eject it manually.
This will give you additional work every time you insert a disc on the drive and eject it when you are finished. To eject it manually, you can use the tiny hole near the eject button. That’s its sole purpose, for manual ejection of the tray. To use the hole, you need a tiny pin that will fit the hole.
Insert the pin in the hole and then push it all the way through until the tray is out. Remove the pin when the tray is out. When you are ready to insert the disc, just press the eject button so the tray will go in. If you don’t want to do this, either buy a new optical drive or lubricate it.
You can buy this lubricant on eBay: Grease Lubricant Lube DVD OPTICAL LASER DRIVE Spindle.
