On starting the TMPGEnc program, I am receiving "Application error: EAccessViolation in module TMPGEncVMW5.exe/689E99E9. Reading error occurred in address 689EA9E9 at address 689EA9E9.” followed by "FastMM has detected a GetMem call after FastMM was uninstalled." The Task Manager shows that TMPGEncVMW5.exe uses almost 100% of the CPU. I have tried reinstalling the program. But it didn’t help resolve the issue. Please help.
EAccess Violation in Module TMPGEncVMW5.exe
From the error message that you have posted, it seems that there are important components of the application that are missing and it possible that you could have uninstalled them. So what I will suggest that you do is you remove the TMPGenc program completely from your computer and all its associated components and the reinstall the application afresh.
-
Go to the control panel on your computer and locate the application.
-
Click remove to uninstall it.
-
After that you will need to clean all registry files, and I will recommend for you an application called ccleaner to carry out that process. You can download it for free from the internet.
-
Once you have finished the above, you can then reinstall the application.
