What should be done in order to convert a PDF to a Word document using Adobe Acrobat DC, since I have it already installed in the system?

Easily convert a PDF file to Word with Acrobat.

It is easy to convert PDF to word.

• Open the required file in Acrobat.
• In the right pane, select the Export PDF
• As the export format, choose Microsoft Word and then choose Word document.

• Click Export.

Acrobat even run text recognition if the file contains scanned text.

Just name the word file and save it.
