Easy way to upgrade my BIOS

Hi There! I need your expertise on my HP Server. I want to upgrade my BIOS, Is there a proper way to upgrade it? Can I download files and boot from the USB? Please help me I need an easy way to do this your help will be highly appreciated.

Easy way to upgrade my BIOS

Hi,

 

You can update your server using three methods.  You can use ROMPaq which is a floppy disk based update. 

– Download the ROMPaq file from the HP website and run the file to create a boot diskette. 

 

The easiest way of updating the BIOS is to use the ROM update utility or the HP Smart Update manager. You can find the software on your Maintenance CD that came with the server.
