After recently getting a new Lenovo Idea Center desktop with Windows 7 Pro that uses Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2007 account a customer wasn’t able to forward an email that contained an attachment of over 700 KB, and received the following message: “Network problems are preventing connection to Microsoft Exchange”.
Is it possible that if he tries to send it again this time would work?
Email Forwarding Problem contain Attached File
Hi JohnJValentine,
MS Exchange is a client server on which all the mailboxes in one company or office is connected.
Because of many mail boxes it is possible to have some problems whit it.
Usually these problems are caused by RPC encryption.
You should try to do this:
-
Start > Control Panel > Classic View
-
Open “Mail”
-
Go to "Show Profiles".
-
Highlight your account/profile and click "Properties".
-
Click on “E-mail accounts”.
-
“Microsoft Exchange Server" > "Change " >”More settings”.
-
Tab “Security”.
-
Look at "Encrypt data between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Exchange" and change what you need than Click on "OK" button.
