My network runs with Windows SBS 2003. All systems are using Windows XP and MS – Outlook 2003. Outside e-mail addresses are created as Global address lists. I have a problem with one computer. When the user is sending email to a Global address list, it is getting expanded without considering which Global address lists he used. It is noticed that the email have been sent to all individual recipient in the Global address list. Since this problem is with only one computer, please help me solve this. Many thanks.
Email Problem with Global Address Lists
Hi Minne,
You may want to try to open the email on safe mode to check if the issue will persist even in safemode. To do that, click on Start > Run > type outlook /safemode > Click ok. It will try to open safe mode on the computer and you can check if the Global address list is still expanding.
You can also try to recreate the profile  of the exchange account on Outlook. To recreate the account, Start > Settings > Control Panel >Mail > Show Profiles > Add > Create new profile. You can try to make the new profile your default profile and check if Global address list is still expanding.
