Email is totally moved from the inbox folder

I have noticed an error while running a test on the web access of Exchange 2003 which I started using recently. Creation of folders and having emails moved to them is not an issue at all. However, the problem comes in when I download an email sent to a certain mailbox to my computer, the email is totally moved from the inbox folder such that the next mail that is sent ends up being the only one in the inbox folder yet they are all in my computer.  There might be some settings that I should configure to solve this issue. Your intervention in this matter shall be highly appreciated.

Hello Angie,

The problem with the distorted email arrangement is for sure caused by some alteration in the mail settings. You will have to access the email account settings and change that.

The problem could how you have set the action that should be taken for the emails that have already been read, in this case the settings might have been declared in a manner that only one message is supposed to be in the inbox, or the latest received mail is supposed to be in the inbox while the others are moved say to the junk mail box or the sent trash. So just check the settings.
