Hi everyone,
We exploit OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0., and in recent times faced an error when we practiced to accumulate out preferences in OBIEE 11g. We attempted a explanation which I came across the Oracle forum; I deleted the User folder in the OBIEE catalogue. OBIEE will remake the folder when the user logs in once again with the new folder rights for the user.
What should I do now to solve this error? Thanks in advance.

Hello Hall,
Try the following to set preferences:

In the Administration Tool, you will need to select Tools, and then select Options to display the Options dialog.

After that go to the General tab and then choose the options you want to choose.

Encountered an error when tried to save out preferences in OBIEE 11g.
Hello Hall Allen,
To fix this problem,you can follow the following:First,open the OBIEE (with browser).Then you have to find the folder named "User".Select that folder and delete it.Then restart your computer and open the OBIEE .Then restart presentation service in OBIEE.Then log in and update user preference.
I hope this will work.
