Can someone please help me? I encountered a problem while using my Visual Studio. I was doing a project on my MS Visual Studio 2008 when suddenly it froze and an error report appeared. It says “An Unexpected error occurred in DynamicsAx Enterprise Tools, You have to restart Visual Studio to use the Dynamics Ax Enterprise Tools.”

 I followed the instruction, but it didn’t work, so I tried to install again my EP tools. However, when I was trying to create Proxies in Dynamics Ax 2009, another error would show up: “Invalid proxy generator command line.
 
” How do if fix this? Please

If this is the first time it happened with your Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, try restarting your computer then try it again. If it still doesn’t work, why not try doing another clean installation of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 to restore it to its default configuration and fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the long run. This would help since you already tried reinstalling your EP tools and still nothing happened.

Uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 from your computer then restart your system when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities or Norton SystemWorks. Install Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 again then check if this fixes the problem.
