Enhanced screen on iPhone 6 for visually impaired?

My uncle is visually impaired and wants to upgrade his cell phone.  I was thinking the iPhone 6 Plus due to the large screen, but I hate to see him spend that much money.  Anyone agree with this recommendation or is there anyone who has a visually impaired friend/relative that uses a certain phone, and if so, can you recommend?  Thank you.

Enhanced screen on iPhone 6 for visually impaired?

I think iPhone 6 is the best choice for them who is visually impaired or little vision.There are some features called Siri and Alex.Alex is sounding a male voice to iOS.But it is not a built-in feature. You must have to install on your iPhone. It is not available in iPhone 5C or older versions. This feature has voice-over, Speak Selection and a new feature called Speak Screen.It reads the screen for you and you can also customize that. iPhone 6 also has a dot braille keyboard. And not of all there is Siri for you as a personal assistant.
