EPSON Advanced printer driver installation error

Hi,

I have the EPSON printer and the installation of drivers quits halfway with the following error below. If I click OK the installation stops. Tried several things like restarting the application, disabling firewall etc but it has worked. What can I do?

Unable to install printer EPSON TM-U325 Validation Error code= 1796.

The specified port is unknown.

EPSON Advanced printer driver installation error

During the installation of the drivers, you will need to copy over the following 2 DLL files. This files should be copied over from a full Windows XP workstation.

1. C:Windowssystem32srclient.dll

2. C:Windowssystem32wbemframedyn.dll

All you need to do is rename the copied over files to read similar to the ones you previously had and you will be able to complete the installation.
