Equal Speed over wifi connection

I am having a shared internet connection with my roommate over wifi. I want to configure my router in such a way that both will get equal speed. Which option should I configure in my tp-link?

Equal Speed over wifi connection

 

Hello Densie,

All you need to do is to perform Bandwidth distribution in your router. Firstly you have to make sure that your wifi router is capable for setting bandwidth allocation. Most TP-Link wifi routers have built-in feature for bandwidth. Follow the following steps,

1.       Log in to your wifi router’s web interface using your IP (192.168.1.1 by default)

2.       Enter the username and password (admin, admin by default)

3.       Here on advanced tab check for the QoS (Quality of Service option)

4.       If you found the one then you can do it by simply entering the MAC of the both computers or allot bandwidth to the port to which they are attached.
