I was backing up my files in an external USB-disk, as soon as it started a 0x80070570 error flashes.
When I looked for the description of that in the Error Message Lookup it says the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.
I have been using this drive and I can still access it without any problem at all.
What is wrong?

Hi,
This behavior can occur if the file, Master File Table or File Allocation Table is damaged. May be some files on the disk is corrupted. Now if you want to access that data you need to recover it by using some tools. But before that you should take back up of other files by one by one. There are many tools for recovering. One is to attempt to repair the damaged file, folder or file system index using Chkdsk. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type chkdsk /f <drive>:, where <drive> is the letter of the drive on which the damaged file, folder or file system index exists.
3. Click OK.
On the other hand there are a lot of other free data recovery tools like Minitool Power Data Recovery which has been getting good reviews.
