I got the following error message while trying to install the Virtual Sound Processor, that I have downloaded, on my Windows 7 computer with AMD Quad Core 4 processor: Error: 0x80040702, Failed to load dll: SpazInst Is the software compatible with Windows 7 or do I have to follow any process to resolve the issue?

Hi Gaganaggarwal,

There are a lot of causes for that kind of error. Your installed shield must be corrupted. You can perform the following solution to be able to fix your problem:

Try this:

• First, you need to go to C:Program Files and open the Install shield folder. It is hidden so you have to make it visible by going to Tools > Options > View > Show hidden folders.
• In this folder you should see a lot of random looking folders. Delete the one with a modified time that corresponds to the time you first tried running the installer.
• Make sure that you do not have any pieces of the client installed on your computer. If you do, use Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs to delete them.
• Restart computer.
• Try running the installer again.
