Error 0x8007000d Failed To Add Update Source For Wuagent Of Type 2

I can call the actions in the SCCM Control Panel on servers. Whenever I run a scan cycle of the software update, the following error message appears:

Failed to add update source for wuagent of type 2 error = 0x8007000d. WUAHandler 27.01.2016 11:17:58 2440 (0x0988)

I checked it and the Windows Updates service is working properly. I searched online and found no real help for this problem. Has anyone ever seen and resolved this?

Error 0x8007000d Failed To Add Update Source For Wuagent Of Type 2

WU does not work properly with the SCCM agent for many reasons. There can be two ways to resolve your issue:

1. Run Windows Update and ask the fix to repair the computer.

2. Stop the Update Agent service, delete the Software Distribution folder, and restart the service.
