Error 0x800CCC33 in Hotmail Account

I am having problem in my Hotmail Account. When I tried to open it, I am receiving error 0x800CCC33 and telling me that the username and password that I entered are incorrect. I’m sure enough that I’m entering it correctly. Can you please help me on what to do with this?

Error 0x800CCC33 in Hotmail Account

Did you use MS outlook in accessing your Hotmail account? If so, choose one of the following methods:

• If you are using Outlook 2003/2007/2010 then Outlook Connector is the recommended method. You can search in the internet to download this or use the following links:

For Outlook Hotmail connector 32 and 64 bit use this link:

*Note: Install the 64-bit version when you are using the 64-bit version of Outlook 2010.

• If you are running an earlier version of Outlook like Outlook 2002, you can access your Hotmail account via POP3.

Error 0x800CCC33 in Hotmail Account

It has been announced last September 01, 2009 that accessing Hotmail account using the HTTP protocol discontinue.

To check if you are affected by this, on

• Tools menu in outlook click >Account Settings >E-mail tab.

If your Hotmail account tab is "HTTP" then you are using the DAV protocol then used the first solution I wrote above.

You can also try another solution like manually remove your account and do it again.

On your tools menu in outlook express, click accounts > mail tab > under accounts, select Hotmail > click remove button.

Or if you don't want to install Outlook connector or you don't have any outlook express, you can use the Live Mail client.

You can also recheck your login name and password in Outlook express just to make it sure.

On the tools menu, click accounts > Mail tab > Hotmail accounts > Properties > Server tab > under mail server,verify the login name and password box > click Remember Password check box.

Click Here to access your Hotmail Account.
