Error 10013 shown with Socket

Hi everyone,

Office communications server web conferencing edge service is showing an error and is unable to start. I was trying to configure Web conferencing edge service. The error am getting is a socket access error 10013. Any ideas?

 

Could not start the Office communications server web conferencing edge service on Local Computer.

 

Error 10013: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

Error 10013 shown with Socket

The Edge services are not competent to start is because the certificate the interfaces (public & internal) have expired.

Notice which one of the events logged really specifies the serial number of the certificate.

To solve the problem, simply you need to renew or replace the expired certificates with valid ones, assign them to the Edge server’s interfaces &restart the Edge services.
